Timberwood is a great neighborhood on the north side of Athens. It is a small subdivision built in the late 90s. There are a pair of 1 bedroom houses available here. Great for the solo traveler or traveling couple, a little quieter than being in the center of town, but still close to everything Athens has to offer and right around the corner from a large shopping area.

This little house reminds me of a shotgun style beach house. Its a long skinny layout with a big open living room and kitchen combo. The bathroom is in the center and the large bedroom is in the back of the house. Lots of natural light in the main room with 7 big bay windows. The back room is more secluded with small windows making it naturally darker for daytime naps.
